Healthy oceans are essential to a healthy planet. Through marine monitoring, participants work alongside scientists and conservation partners to collect valuable data that helps monitor the health of coral reefs, marine ecosystems and the incredible species that call them home.
Research Initiatives
Marine ecosystems are constantly changing, making long-term monitoring essential for understanding and protecting them. EFT supports a range of marine research initiatives that give participants the opportunity to collect real scientific data while developing practical underwater and field research skills.
From coral reefs and seagrass meadows to mangrove forests and open ocean environments, participants learn how marine scientists monitor ecosystem health and contribute to conservation efforts across Southeast Asia.
